DP1 Lesson 9: Review for Creating Space
This lesson reviews many of the various techniques and concepts we have learned so far while focusing specifically on their application for creating space. These techniques and concepts include the following: overlap; shading; scale; value and atmospheric perspective; placement; foreground, middle ground, and background; one-point perspective; two-point perspective; three-point perspective; and axonometric perspective. As part of the review, we practice using each in short, creative exercises. Lastly, we apply our knowledge of these techniques and concepts to evaluate the work of Symbolist artists.
