The Human Form
DP1 Lesson 15:
Drawing the Face
In this lesson, we combine parts of the human face that we learned to draw in the previous lesson. We learn about facial proportions and how to map the face in order to draw anatomically correct facial proportions. We practice drawing a frontal view of the entire face according to anatomically correct proportions in a short exercise. Artists’ anatomical studies are viewed and analyzed in relation to their artistic depictions of the human form.
